WALK AMONG VINEYARDS AND VOLCANOES
On this route, you'll discover how volcanic nature and winemaking tradition merge into a single territory. Walking among damp pines and high-altitude vineyards is like exploring the inside of a glass of Canarian wine: a landscape in a bottle where each vine leaf and volcanic cone tell a story of the land, climate, and culture.

We invite you on a unique hike that combines nature, tradition, and volcanic landscapes. We'll depart from the small town of Camaretas, in Vega de San Mateo, the island's quintessential winemaking municipality.
At over 1,300 meters above sea level, the trail enters a mosaic of humid pine forests and fayal-brezal that cover the northern slopes. At this time of year, in late September, the vineyards clinging to the volcanic slopes are at their best: the vines begin to turn golden while the grape harvest begins in the nearby wineries.
Along the route, each step will be an encounter with the island's agricultural history and the geological force that shaped it. An experience that intertwines the charm of wine, the freshness of the forest, and the majesty of the volcanic landscape. We conclude our walk with a wine tasting.
